On Tuesday 17 May, the annual Urban Transformations Conference is held in Rotterdam. During this event, the new LDE Centre for BOLD Cities will be presented. The Centre for BOLD Cities ('BOLD' meaning Big, Open and Linked Data) will focus on researching citizen experience in the (smart) city.
Six researchers, each affiliated with one of the LDE universities, will present their research on a subject that is tied to the BOLD Cities area of research - the combination of citizen experience and big, open and linked data. In addition, Liesbet van Zoonen, the Centre's academic director, will deliver a speech on 'smart & vital cities'. Prof. dr. Jantien Stoter (TU Delft) will take part in a presentation on the 3D City.
