We are proud to share that our boardmembers, Sarah Giest and Bram Klievink, are leading the organisation of the Data for Policy 2025 – Europe Edition conference. This year’s event will take place on 12-13 June 2025 at Leiden University’s campus in The Hague, under the theme: “Twin Transitions in Data and Policy for a Sustainable and Inclusive Future.”
A platform for dialogue and innovation
As part of the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs (FGGA) at Leiden University, Sarah and Bram are shaping a conference that brings together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from across disciplines and sectors. The event will explore how data and AI can drive both digital and green transitions toward more sustainable and inclusive societies. Data for Policy is a leading global forum for interdisciplinary dialogue on the intersection of data, governance, and policy. This edition promises to foster new insights and collaborations, addressing challenges at the heart of the twin transitions shaping our future.
Call for Contributions

Accepted papers may also be considered for publication in the Data & Policy journal.
Submissions are encouraged to reflect on the unique challenges or opportunities in each proposer’s region, engaging with local, regional, or global contexts.
