Using data in the built environment: new book published

Building Information - Representation and Management: Fundamentals and Principles, a new book by Centre for BOLD Cities board member Alexander Koutamanis, has been published. In the book, Koutamanis analyses the relations between data, information, representations and management in the built environment.

The publication lays a foundation for the integration of data technologies into the activities of the building disciplines, as well as for the wider utilisation of data produced by these disciplines in the context of modern, digital cities.

The book is published in the series of open textbooks of Delft University of Technology and is therefore freely available. An online version can be found at Pressbooks.
