Prof. dr. Jaap van den Herik

Jaap van den Herik is a former board member of the Centre for BOLD Cities. At Leiden University, he is professor of Computer Science and Law at the Faculty of Science and at the Faculty of Law. He served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Leiden Centre of Data Science (LCDS).

On 8 October 2021, Jaap van den Herik was appointed Officer in the Order of Orange Nassau on his retirement as professor of Law and Information Technology.
