Vera Safronova is an Academic Assistant in the Urban Economics and Governance department at IHS. She is involved in advisory and research activities related to urban policymaking, digitalization, innovation, and education-related activities in various courses.
Vera graduated with BSc in International Relations and Organizations at Leiden University with Honors and cum laude. Then, she combined her Master’s degree with working on Urban Air Mobility research. Her interests are urban digital transformation, modern urban infrastructure and sustainable city planning. Vera also conducted research on participatory urban planning, network governance, urban co-production, and livable and sustainable neighbourhood development.
During her time at BOLD Cities she lead the project 'Social acceptance of Urban Air Mobility'.
